To help Oregon’s Medicaid providers adopt and use Certified Electronic Health Record Technology and achieve Meaningful Use, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has contracted with OCHIN to provide outreach and technical assistance to eligible providers through the Oregon Medicaid Meaningful Use Technical Assistance Program (OMMUTAP).

The program offers a suite of no-cost services to help certain health care providers who treat Medicaid patients:

  • Select the right Certified EHR Technology for their practice or upgrade their current EHR
  • Effectively access and use patient information when and where it is needed, and meet CCO reporting measures
  • Assess and minimize EHR-related security risks to their practice
  • Achieve Meaningful Use and qualify for financial incentives

OMMUTAP will tailor a plan to fit the needs of each participant and provide the expertise and support to help providers, clinics and Coordinated Care Organizations meet your goals. Note: Providers are not eligible to receive technical assistance services that they already received from O-HITEC.
